NICK MUHAMMAD

Born in Kuala Lumpur, Muhammad Musyrif Bin Mahadi @ Nick 21, was diagnosed with autism in 2002 – that time the word ‘Autism’ still a stranger in Malaysia scene. Since young he was not academically inclined, he was a very passive boy demonstrated learning difficulties and developmental delays.

Nick interest in art only being noticed when he was introduced to acrylic art. He likes using big block of colors, bright and dramatic.  He uses big strokes and thick textures with exciting colors. He let people to use their imagination to interpret his art.

Art has given Nick a form of communication, the way he sees the world. Art also has given Nick an avenue for calmness while expressing himself, the way he feels connected and the way most likely how he lives to the fullest; truly alive.
